"We've been going to this place for more than 10 years. When ever we want good pizza, this is the place. We always get the plain thin crust (its incredible!!!). This time we ordered something more adventurous, and got Tri colore pizza. It was really good , but not for the people who dont like spinach. It had too much for my personal taste. Their stake and cheese sandwich is soo awesome. Do try it once. I guarantee, you'll be back."

"I canโ€™t believe Iโ€™ve been sleeping on some incredible Italian food right under my nose all these years! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น The owner of this hidden gem stopped by the Big Y where I work and casually mentioned I should swing by and give it a try. He was so friendly, I figured why not? ๐Ÿ˜„ I went for my usual comfort foodโ€”eggplant parmigiana, loaded with mozzarella, pesto, and garlicโ€”and WOW, I was instantly hooked! ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ But hereโ€™s where it gets dangerous: I made the rookie mistake of trying the clams casino pizza. ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฆช Let me tell you, itโ€™s a game-changer. If you're a fan of authentic Italian flavors, do yourself a favor and head to Napoliโ€™s. Trust me, youโ€™ll be asking yourself, Why didnโ€™t I try this sooner? ๐Ÿ˜‹โœจ"

Hawaiian Pizza: A Controversial Delight

Hawaiian pizza, topped with ham and pineapple, was invented in Canada in 1962 by Sam Panopoulos, a Greek immigrant. While the combination has sparked passionate debates, with some purists decrying the addition of fruit on a pizza, it has nevertheless found a niche among fans of sweet and savory flavors. The name 'Hawaiian' was borrowed from the brand of canned pineapple originally used, adding a tropical flair to this otherwise North American creation.

Trivia

Pizza: A Universal Comfort Food

This ubiquity is reflected in the consumption of approximately 350 slices per second across the nation. Pizza's universal appeal lies in its versatility and ability to bring people together, whether for a casual weeknight dinner or a festive celebration.

The Deep Dish Debate

Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, known for its buttery crust and towering layers of cheese and toppings, originated in 1943 at Pizzeria Uno, thanks to the efforts of Ike Sewell and Ric Riccardo. This style contrasts sharply with the thin, foldable slices of New York pizza, sparking a friendly rivalry between the two cities. The debate over which is superior continues to engage pizza lovers nationwide, highlighting regional pride and diverse tastes.

Pizza's World Record Holder

The world record for the largest pizza ever made was achieved in 2012 in Los Angeles, where a pizza measuring 1,261.65 square meters (13,570 square feet) was created. This colossal pizza, named 'Ottavia' in honor of the first Roman emperor Augustus, was not only a feat of culinary engineering but also entirely gluten-free. It required a team of chefs and substantial quantities of dough, cheese, and sauce to bring this record-breaking vision to life.
